We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with The North Face and over 150 climbing gyms around the world to offer a day of FREE climbing!

On Saturday, August 18 2018, from 10am to 8pm, climbing will be free! Rental gear is included!

For every person who walks in our doors, The North Face will make a $1 donation to the Khumbu Climbing Center, up to $100,000. The Khumbu Climbing Center is an organization committed to increasing the safety margin of Nepali climbers and high altitude workers by encouraging responsible climbing practices in a supportive and community-based program.

Please Note:

• We expect a good number of people to come through our door for this awesome event. The number of people who can climb at any given time is limited by the amount of gear we have available and space in the gym. Because of this we cannot guarantee that you will be able to climb, and there will be no rain checks for free climbing. This is the only day we are offering this special.
• Given the number of folks who will be climbing during this event, we ask that you limit your climbing to an hour so we can have enough gear and space for everyone.
• Every person who comes into our facility, climbing or not, will need to have a Visitor Agreement Form filled out. Click HERE to fill it out ahead of time.
• We will be giving tours every twenty minutes. If you are new to our facility or haven’t visited us in six months or more, you will be required to go on a new / refresher facility orientation tour. The last tour will be at 7pm.
• Please review our Climbing First Visit Guide for gym policies, child specific rules, and recommendations for what to wear and what to expect.

River Rock Spring Break Camp

Enjoy our full day programs, from 9am to 4pm that will have your 7 – 12 year olds active and engaged. We will be playing games, slack-lining, learning knot craft & climbing technique, teaching stretching and warm-up exercises, and of course roped climbing and bouldering!
Each program day is the same, but you can sign-up for multiple days.

Programs run from 9 am to 4 pm. $60 per day. $50 per day for River Rock Members. 10% discount for additional siblings or multiple date registrations. Full payment is required to reserve individual spot.
Holiday campers will need to bring a packed lunch, two snacks, water bottle, and wear loose comfortable clothing.

River Rock Summer Camps

Spider Monkeys
Our staff will instruct your 5 & 6 year olds from 9am-12pm or 1-4pm

Flying Squirrels
Our staff will instruct your 7 & 8 year olds from 9am to 12pm or from 1pm to 4pm during this week long camp.The camp will run from Monday-Friday.

July 24-28, meets from 1-4pm

Geckos
Our staff will instruct your 9-12 year olds from 9am to 3pm during this week long camp.The camp will run from Monday-Friday.

July 17-21, meets from 9am-3pm
July 31-August 4, meets from 9am-3pm

$220 / week for River Rock member or additional sibling
$250 / week for non-members

Gecko Advanced (for youth that have attended a regular Gecko camp)
This week long camp, which meets from 9am-3pm each day, is for all of our returning Geckos.If your 9-12 year old has previously completed a youth program at the River Rock and is looking for a new and challenging week of camp, this is the week to sign up for!
