If you have never led before, or it’s been awhile since you have, then this class is for you! In our lead climbing class you will learn all the fundamentals of leading and lead belaying.This course is six total hours and broken into two separately scheduled sessions. Rental harness and shoes are provided in course fee if needed. Following the workshop participants must successfully pass the lead climbing and lead belay test in order to gain access to participation in lead climbing and/or belaying in the River Rock gym. Course Prerequisite: Must be currently climbing at a 5.9 top rope level and checked off to top rope belay at the River Rock.

This is a two part class and you must be able to attend both sessions.
